SHG
Sustainable development

Based on its experience in Asia, SHG Group has been developing a number of activities for the past twenty years, all of which are in line with the philosophy of the Chinese martial arts tradition. Through the martial arts school, SHG actively contributes to the creation of charities, risk management consulting, protection of people and property with its partner company, IAS8. As we look ahead to 2020, we must strive to use this experience as a learning process, even as a warning. We have all witnessed how Nature has regained its place after our economic activity has stopped. 2021 must be a pivotal year for all of us to strengthen and develop our businesses in a responsible manner, taking into account our . SHG and its president naturally want to be part of this effort. According to her, China and Southeast Asia are examples to follow in this field, representing an opportunity for many Westerners and non-Asian. SHG's wide range of activities naturally makes it a key player in.

Sustainable development is a concept of development or growth that focuses on the long term, integrating environmental and social. As SHG understands it, and in accordance with the definition given to it in the report of the World Commission on Environment and Development, known as the Brundtland Report, which coined the term in 1987, "sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs." Master Kong, otherwise known as Confucius (孔子), and his main disciples, called the Twelve Philosophers, were already teaching sustainable development and balance in 479 B.C. in the following works: the Book of Changes, or Yi Jing (易经), and the Spring and Autumn Annals (春秋 (麟經). In the West, this idea took root following a progressive awareness of the finite nature of the earth's environment that began in the 1970s. However, sustainable development has its detractors, such as the proponents of degrowth who consider that this concept remains too closely linked to that other concept, economic growth; other detractors.

SHG wishes to maintain its consulting, risk management and training activities within the Martial Arts in a double perspective: promoting personal fulfillment through the practice of Martial Arts while contributing to an economic development that preserves the health of humanity.

SHG Developpement durable
